changing effects
Hi,
I’m working with FCP 7 and I have 1 hour sequence with a lot of dissolves.
I change one of the dissolves to “dip to color” and all the dissolves in my sequence changed from dissolve -> to dip to color.
I guess I used on of the buttons the wrong way, but I don’t know what.
(BTW, I have a lot of them in my timeline so do in manually is no fun…thanx,

I selected the cut that already had a dissolve, then I went to effect menu, video transitions, dip to color. this is how I remember it. maybe I pressed by accident another button that changed everything (it was after midnight…)
is there a way to fix it or I should do it cut by cut?to mark in to out and to change if from dip to color to dissolve

Yes mark in and out on your timeline, then choose Effects > Video Transitions > Dissolve > Cross dissolve.
