    Hey all–

I have quicktime files in 8-bit uncompressed I have been editing in FCP. I need to archive the files as duplicates for backing up, but with much less memory space. Can anyone suggest a way to do that to DVC Pro 50 with minimal loss to quality?

    Thanks so much!

you can always recapture later if needed, just keep a backup of your FCP project file, any graphics files etc.
