Hi. How do I change the background color of title slides? I understand how to manipulate the text in various ways when I use the title on existing video, but when I create free standing title slide, it comes with the stock black background. I am sure there is a simple answer, but I am flummoxed! Mark

I thought the basic title was on a transparent background which would appear black if you placed it on the primary storyline but if you placed a generated color background on the primary storyline and attach a title above it as a connected clip, I believe you would have the colored background you are looking for.

[Mark Corrigan] “How do I generate a blank background that I can color?”

Open the Generators browser and select the Solids category and then drag and drop the color you want into the timeline.
