Don’t get me wrong, STP is a much needed tool in FCP. I still use it, I just don’t use it how Apple initially intended is all. I use it as a stand alone app.

When you use it as a stand alone. How do you sync video in the play back to edit sound FX too? ANd do you export out of stp and then Import into browser of FCP?

I usually export a reference movie from FCP and do it that way. Yes, I then export out of STP then reimport to FCP browser. No where near as elegant as it should be, but it works.

Yeah. Thanks, thats sort of how I’ve done it until now. I didn’treally try the round-tripping until now and I’m not too thrilled about it. I think STP is an awesome program but this RTriping isn’t working.
