  changes not getting saved and files getting deleted

  hi

  i am facing very strange problem and its realy driving me crazy. 10 out of 7 times my changes not getting saved in FCP . whaterver work i do today and saved the changes, next day i get the older version of my project as if i have never worked on it.sometimes my meadia also get deleted on its own. i have run disk worrier for my drives. they are perfectly ok. i have reinstalled OS x but the problem is same. its out of my kwoldge now. can any one suggest what else could be checked? what could be the problem area? i am absulatly clueless.
