Change Zoom start position + another prob
Hi, I have 2 problems, one is that if you use the “Zoom” transition, it will begin the zoom from the middle, then ending where the element (in this case a title with text) is positioned. Is there any way to change where the zoom starts? I don’t want it in the middle cause the object is positioned on the side, and it thus flies to long… The second problem goes like this: I have 2 different words, one in its each title, now I want the first word to zoom in to screen, and that’s all fine, but if u continue to the second word, it zooms over and replaces the former title, and thus wipes away the former word; I need some kind of transparency for my title so that it can zoom in, but leaving the already zoomed-in former word in place.

To change the anchor point of your zoom, click on the transition itself and look in the Effect Controls panel. In the center of the “A” box is a tiny circle. Grab it and move it to where you want the zoom to start.
When you zoom properly, each word should still be visible if you just typed the words into the Adobe Title Designer. If you put a background on it, then you will have a problem.

Hm…seems I have a black background then? I only use titles in this animation, must i use some black video? How do I remove this background?

There should not be a background.
Try this in a brand new project:
1. create a title with the word STOP in green. Just those four letters and nothing else.
2. create a title with the word GO in blue. Just those two letters and nothing else.
3. put the first title on track two
4. put the second title right above it on track three.It should look odd since the STOP shows through the GO. If they don’t then you have something very odd going on.
5. Move the first title so that it shows at the top and the second title so it shows at the bottom. Use the Motion effect’s Position parameter to do this.
You should see them both clearly.
6. Import a still image and put it on track one.
You should see STOP and GO above the picture.

I’ve got everything right now, thanx so much! The problem was I put them all on the same track, meaning the second image replaced the first one, the were never merged. Thanks!
But a little quetstion, is there a zoom effect (either in Premier or AE) that starts out from your point of view, that is not from the background? Starting up really big, then zooming down to real size? Hope you get what I’m trying to say…
