Change the duration of lots of stills at once
Hey All,
I’ve got a lot of still images (around 180) which i want to change the duration of, all at once.
When i added them to the timeline they default at 5 seconds long, because of what the stills are (it’s an animation) they need to be more like..0.1 seconds long, but trying to change the duration of 180 stills to 0.1 seconds, takes forever!
So is there any way to make this process quicker?

If you want the images to be 1 frame each, import it as a still image sequence.
File – Import, browse to the folder containing the images, click on the first one (make sure they’re all properly sequentially numbered – i.e. image001.xxx to image180.xxx), click the “Open still image sequence” box at the bottom of this tab, click “Open”, make any necessary adjustments in the box that comes up and click “OK”.
The sequence will show up in your Project Media tab as a 9 second anim ready to be dropped on your Vegas timeline.If this is too fast for your needs, place your cursor at the end of the last frame, hold down the Ctrl key (you’ll see the cursor change from a rectangle to a ~) and drag it to the right as far as you need to go.
