  • Change the Audio Pitch Over Time?

I have an audio clip that I need to make sound “spooky” at the end.

I was told by the client to change the “pitch,” and as he described what he wanted, he mimicked turning a knob downward, and made his voice lower (like a monster).

I can apply a filter to a clip and make the entire vocal clip change, but how do I mimic the changing of a pitch over time via FCP or Soundtrack Pro? Can the change be keyframed?

I am not a Soundtrack Pro expert, so please explain in simple terms.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, every parameter of the AUPitch plug-in is keyframable, you should be able to do that easily within Final Cut Pro.
