change text box size without changing text proportions size etc
When ever I change the size of a text box within PS CS5 the proportions of the text change with it. I want the text size and proportions to remain the same but just alter the size and location of the box. I imagine it works will dragging while holding a combination of cmd, alt, cntrl, shift but no of them seem to work…THanks

Select the text by double clicking on the text or ‘Ctrl A’, you should get a black highlighter of the text.
Hold the ‘Ctrl’ and you should get a trasformation box around the text, if you click on the corner you will change its proportion. whereas if you click inside the text (Anywhere but center of the text, that will move the alignment) you will move the placement.

Use the text tool and click on the text, as if you’d be typing/editing the text, then simply drag the handles for the text box.
