  • change still image length in DVDA 3.0c

One of the menu items for a DVD I’m working on brings up a still that describes the contents of the Extras folder.
I’m sure it can be done but I don’t see any way to keep it on screen for longer than 5 seconds.
    Any suggestions? Thanks.

Not sure of your approach, but to change the menu page duration:

    Menu Page Properties>Menu Length>Specify
    Length>0:00:00:00

Thanks Gary but that doesn’t do it.
I’ll see if I can make myself clearer.
I have 6 separate menu items.
#6 is titled “DVD Extras” and, when clicked, links to a still image that has a list of the contents of this folder. It only stays up for 5 seconds though and then goes back to the main menu. I’d like it to stay up for 15 seconds if at all possible.

OK, I see what you’re doing.

Interesting question as I don’t know of an easy way to adjust the length of playback when you point to an image file.

The best bet for you is to create a picture compliation of one image (you can adjust the duration there) and point to that instead.

Instead of linking to a picture, link to a SUB MENU and make the picture the background image. By default, it will have a “return” button to go back to the main menu.

Thank you VERY much (once again) Edward.
    Your Submenu trick worked perfectly.
I can now go home a happy (and stress-free) man 🙂
