  • Change speed of clip by dragging edge of clip

Vegas has this nifty feature that lets you adjust the speed of the clip by hitting ctrl + dragging in or out the edge of the clip on the timeline. It literally makes editing music videos a billion times easier. Do i really need to punch in the numbers in the constant speed adjustment box a million times to get the clip exactly the right length???? Please tell me someone over there at apple has thought of this….

You can choose the speed tool on the left side of the screen and drag the clip as you wish. What version of FC do you have? Version 7 has the most options.
