Change layer proportion in After Effects?
Hey guys, I-I am trying to animate a layer, but it crops out in my composition when I move it because the proportion of the layer itself is not big enough, but how do I change that proportion specifically so I can move it without cropping out?
You can see in the image below better, when I try to lower the Y position, it crops out, because the layer it’s in the edge, but i don’t know how to make the space to work bigger.
If someone can help me out, please.

if i understand right, press cmd+K to open comp settings and make the size of the comp bigger

thanks for the answer! but i discovered what I specifically needed to do, I needed to make that layer itself in a composition for it, so then, I could normally change it`s proportions!
