I’m trying to ease out a scaling effect. So, I thought that using the keyframe in the timeline could have been a reasonable idea for editing the Bezier handles.
Here you can see the opacity chart, of the grey clip, is set to 100% as it is the scale effect of the central clip, on the far right hand side. Unfortunately it is squashed to the bottom of the window, and makes it unusable.

I would like to make it look like this, but without having the initial scale set to 10,000.

Is there a way to change the range (y-axis) of the keyframe chart in the timeline area?
    Thank you.

OK, I’ve figured it out. One has to use the Effect Control panel. The Timeline Keyframe view is pointless and misleading.
Here there is a view of my panel, where I can control both the x and y range.
