    Hello!

    The system:

    MacOS 10.4.10
    8 Core Mac Pro
    MediaComposer 2.7.7
    Boris CC 4.2.2
    QT 7.2
    Effect: BCC Film Damage

The effect is created in a sequence in a NTSC 30i Project (10:1m).

The bin is saved and moved to 1920×1080 60i Project.

The effect (rendered and un-rendered) are rotated 90 degrees.

The client sent me a copy of a bin containing both SD an HD clips. Upon inspection of the SD clips (with no media) the effect looked identical to what they expect. Upon promotion of the clip to HD, the effect is not rotated 90 degrees, but the scale is blown to be very large.

They need to go back in an re-create the effect for HD.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

    Hi Josh,

I don’t know why this is happening but give this a shot and let me know if it works for you:

    • In the SD version, save the BCC effect setting as a preset using the load/save buttons in the filter UI.
    • In the promoted version of the effect, load the preset that you saved while in the SD project

    I hope this helps.

    Peter.
