  • Change icon & text size of GUI

    Hi there,

Is there, besides changing the text size of browser and timeline, a way to change the text size and icon size for the rest of the GUI of FCP? I find the timecode displays way to small and especially the keyframe editor is giving me a headache! In a demo at IBC last year someone at the Apple boot showed my collegues how to do it, but they forgot how to do it. Maybe they had to much to drink and only think they saw it at IBC 🙂

    Can anyone help me out?

There’s not a way other than maybe zooming in, which you can setup from the Universal Access pref in your system prefs…

Argh, that’s a shame. And I just started to like FCP!

    Thanks for your help Jerry!

The isssue with small timecode has been raised before, and sorted with this:

As for the rest of the gui, well, some things can’t be changed, but you can make the keyframe editing ‘bigger’ by zooming the timeline. Using the bigger size for the tracks in the timeline options may help you as well.

Get a larger monitor, and lower it’s resolution? That would make it all become larger.
