    i used a button that i like from the library tab, it comes up with an arrow by default that i don’t like, i want to change this to highlight the entire button. is this possible, how would i do it?

    Do you have photoshop?, is yes then just right click on the menu (that has the button added to it) within Encore and then select “edit in photoshop”, once it has loaded into photoshop then just delete the parts of the button you dont need and then highlight the arrow part and press CTRL+J on the keyboard to create a copy of the arrow and then just double click this new layer and re-name it to “(=1)hlg” (without the quotes)close down and the changes will be updated in Encore..
    this is one way to do it…hope this helps..

    You can do it without Photoshop.

    Open the button layer set in the Layers panel, then delete the subpicture layer you don’t want (it has the =1 prefix). Then select the button and choose Object > Create Subpicture- your entire button will be used to create a new subpicture layer.
