change from frames to timecode in viewer

January 9, 2007 at 8:41 pmSometime during the semester the urchins (“who didn’t do nothing”) changed the display in the viewer from timecode to frames. Now that we’re gearing up for the new semester, I want to change it back. I’ve looked thru every menu I can think of. I know I saw that setting somewhere but for the life of me I can’t remember where. Thanks,

January 9, 2007 at 8:57 pmWhen in doubt on a mac, think of contextual menus. When you hold down the control key, then click somewhere, you get a menu based on the context of where you’re clicking.
Press the control key, then click on the frames display number. You should see options: non-drop frame (timecode), feet+frames, and frames. Select non-drop frame.
