  • change from frames to timecode in viewer

Sometime during the semester the urchins (“who didn’t do nothing”) changed the display in the viewer from timecode to frames. Now that we’re gearing up for the new semester, I want to change it back. I’ve looked thru every menu I can think of. I know I saw that setting somewhere but for the life of me I can’t remember where. Thanks,

When in doubt on a mac, think of contextual menus. When you hold down the control key, then click somewhere, you get a menu based on the context of where you’re clicking.

Press the control key, then click on the frames display number. You should see options: non-drop frame (timecode), feet+frames, and frames. Select non-drop frame.

Thanks guys, I keep jumping between “that other system” on PC and FCP. It’s hard to keep them straight.
