    Hey. Thank you very much for the kind word, it really means a lot.

    Now. To make the letters also italic, just click the add(from where you added expression selector), select Property and then Skew. Now modify the Skew value to what you wish.

    Hi Andrei,

    This solution is doing the job but the italics font and the skew font looks completely different and also when you skew the text it touches the Right Parentheses.

    Any way to make it italics in expression?

    Hi there, I have a fun follow up to this question. This expression is incredibly helpful for me as I have a text layer going into a template where I want URL’s to turn a different fill color than the rest of the text. This expression works well because I can tell my end users to place their URL’s within parenthesis in order to make the URL’s turn blue or what have you. However, do you think there is a way to also remove the parenthesis from the text using regex so that they become invisible? That way we achieve the blue URL’s but lose the identifying parenthesis.
