Change clip, keep keyframes
Hello. Just wondering if there is a way to preserve keyframes when replacing a clip in FCP. I have several clips with lots of keyframes which change the opacity and I am hoping I can replace the clip while keeping all of those keyframes. “Overwrite” and “Replace” seem to remove the keyframes. Thanks for your help!

Copy Content? Did you try that?
Puty the new clip in the sequence anywhere. The copy it. Then select old clip and cntrl click and choose paste and then content.

Copy, replace, then paste attributes – just the attributes you want to keep.
You’re copying the original information, replacing the clip (or overwrite), then you’re pasting the attributes from the original clip.
