  • Change Audio Tracks during capture?

Posted by Andrew Rice on August 9, 2005 at 9:12 pm

I used to be able to change my audio tracks and video tracks to logged clips in the browser BEFORE capturing them. For instance changing 1V, 2A to 1V. This was easily done by right clicking on the track info of the clip in the browser and choosing from a drop down menu.

I say “used to”, because after upgrading to FCP5 this is no longer possible, I get a message saying “no options available”, or something like that…I am capturing footage now and can’t check what the message exactly says.

This was a nice feature, as I didn’t have to remember to turn audio on and off during loggong, I could do it afterwards to multiple clips.

Is there a new way to do this, or do I simply have to remember to turn audio on and off?

Preview is a long awaited feature!! Cool!!
