    Hey cow gurus,

I’m working on a graphic overlay where I have this grid over a background. and when I change it to screen mode it gives me the appearance I want it to have but when I remove the blue background that I’m using as a template. it changed comes back. to it’s normal state ( because there’s nothing to screen blend to)

so what I’m trying to do is…. The way the grid looks when it’s in screen mode.. I want it to look that way in a normal mode. a normal layer with only the lines and transparency.. the black would be completely gone
I tired wanding the dark parts away but then it destroys the grid.
I plan to save it as a Targa with transparency(along with other elements) to key over the talent

    any thoughts or suggestions.
    Thanks.
    Jeff

You need to make an alpha channel or a layer mask
