    Hello,

I have a DVD with a lot of different clips on them. Two of the clips have to be replaced by an other one.
Only problem is, I don’t have the project it’s build in, only a DVD with video_TS files.
I tried to convert the VOB file the clips are in, edit it, and replace the VOB file, but that didn’t really work.
Is it even possible to do that? If yes, how?

    Thanks,
    Irene

    Only full re-authoring is possible

As mentioned, requires a re-author. Good news is that freeware programs like MPEG Streamclip from Squared5 will allow you to pull original files out of DVD, such as .m2v and .wav, for which you can then create new menus (re-author) without re-encoding or quality loss
