Change a cut to a dissolve, without handles?
I’ve got a flattened qt music video and no access to the original clips. Is there a way to make or fake a dissolve where there now exist a hard cut between two shots?

Nope. You can just slow mo or freeze frame some video if you want to create the dissolve. but without any additional video, it’ll be a cut.
