hi everyone, first time poster…and i need some help…

i’m creating some organic handwritten chalk titles, in which i’d like to have a little dust fall downwards as the chalk is written…

i’m having very little success, and i’m guessing trial and error is my best bet, but seeing that i don’t have much time, i thought i’d ask for tips here…

    presets? plugins?

i’m using particular at the moment, i just can’t get the right mix of gravity, size, shape, etc to make it look believable and not digital and fake…

basically any help would be super cool
    thanks

I’ve done this one… (rubber eraser crumbs)

Use a particle system to generate the dust. Have the emitter use the X-Y data on the drawing for position. (or animate the emitter by hand.)

    Good luck!
