  CF card problem from Canon C300 mark 1

  Hi,

  I’ve been having huge problems with a CF card, from a Canon c300 (Mark 1).

  I’ve only been able to view a few clips when trying to import a 32gb card via FCP X and Canon XF utility. When I put the card back in the camera I get a question mark over most of the clips.

  I’ve looked into the clip files, and some of the file structures look out of place to me. I ran a data rescue program on it and isolated the MXF files but still couldn’t play them.

  After a few online searches to try to solve the problem, I found a company “Aero Quartet” who look at the MXF files via a plug in called ” Treasured”

  This plug-in can view the files, showing that they may be saveable. It’s quite expensive service for them to save the whole card. I wonder if anyone has any experience with them or issues like this? Is there another way that I can save my footage?

  Should have done a dual record!!!
