Certain “QUICK KEYS” just stop working…
Hi Guys,
I am new to C4D so please don’t frag me for asking a dumb question…
I am working frantically then all of a sudden, I can’t use certain “Quick Keys” anymore…like the “VIEW ADJUSTMENT” quick keys = holding the keys 1 (position) & drag, 2 (zoom) & drag, 3 (rotate) & drag and in the Objects Manager I can’t COMMAND/drag to make a copy of an item.
What setting did I change to cause this? I tried dumping my preferences – same issue. Is this a BUG in C4D R9.1 maybe??
I am on a Dual 2.5 G5 / 3.5 Gigs RAM / OS 10.3.6 / C4D R9.1 Studio Bundle
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Hi Joey,
I cannot confirm this behavior. Here are some things you might want to check:
1. Remove all plugins from your plugins folder, to see if not a plugin is preventing C4D from working correctly in this area. If not, slowly put the plugins back one-by-one (yes, I know it

Thank you for jumping in. I tried all that – issue still exists. I am reinstalling the program & updating it…to be continued.

So the hotkeys in C4D are still assigned to the functions and it doesn

Hey Katachi,
I took a stab at uninstalling & reinstalling the software (9.1.0.2)… it cleared up. The program must have gotten corrupt somewhere down the line.
