Certain Plugins not showing up in FCP7
Only a week ago I was running FCP7 on El Capitan just fine. I upgraded to High Sierra, found out it wasn’t compatible, and downgraded to Yosemite (didn’t have el capitan install file). Two of my most used plugins “magic bullet looks” and “lock and load x” do not show up in FCP7 under effects. The stand-alone app for looks works, separately from FCP7. I uninstalled FCP7 and Magic Bullet Suite, followed by a re-install. The plugins under Mac HD/Library/ApplicationSupport/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins DO show up and work in FCP7. This includes Magic Bullet Misfire plugins. The ‘looks’ and ‘lock and load’ plugins are installed under Mac HD/Library/Plugins/FxPlug and none of them show-up. I have no idea what to do.

Perhaps they aren’t compatible with Yosemite, but are with El Cap?

when I launch the installer (even from red giant’s website) it opens “open any files”
I was only able to install trapcode suite.I turned wifi off and I wired my Mac so I could download it
I tried from several browsers
I tried with download manager
I tried previous version like this 13.0.6 or earlier
of course I have setup my gatekeeper and have allowed any app to be installed on my Macnothing works – Any other plugin’s installer or software launches fine. but not the redgiant’s (except trapcode suite)
