Century Gothic
Hi,
I’m just started using FCP and wanna type a text using Century Gothic.
I couldn’t find this font in mac so i copied the TTF in Windows PC and installed in mac.
Now everything looks fine except when i using Century Gothic font in FCP, the plain text has an italic on it. There’s not regular option.
How do i get the plain for “not iltalic”
is it the font compatility issues?

I never use the “legacy” Title generators in FCP.
I suggest that you use “Title 3D” (by Boris) that is included with the FCP install disc.
It should be one of your Title choices inside FCP.
Title 3D can use both Type 2 (TrueType) and Type 1 (PostScript) fonts.
You must make sure that you have all of the ‘faces’ files (bold, italic, etc.) of a font when using a Type 1 font.
