    I wonder if there is a plug-in or something to make this a lot easier. But for now, I would add the one word and make sure it is centered. Copy that layer and make the 2nd layer start where you add a word. Then add the word to that layer so you have two words instead of one.

    By centering the text horizontally in the paragraph panel.

    Ive tried just centering the paragraph, but sadly it doesnt change the position which is the effect i am after.

    Thanks Stephen – yeah, i’m sure its a preset I could probably buy. Its just annoying not knowing the ‘clever’ way you know?

    All you’ve got to do is type in the whole text, centered. Then keyframe the source text and start going back deleting each word. It won’t take you more than seconds… or am I missing something?
