Center pan audio when using headphones?
Hi!
Will be using a Ki Pro for a green screen shoot with a Sony EX3. We don’t have field recorder for the audio and tried plugging the mic via XLR directly into the Ki Pro. Worked great, good sound, but the sound guy wanted to center pan the audio in the headphones when monitoring, he hated to have one person in each ear. I couldn’t find any setting for this, is it possible?

Center panning of audio for monitoring purposes is not a feature that is currently offered. We will pass your comment on to product management for further review and consideration.

A field mixer would do the trick too. Sound Devices 302 or mixpre-d both give you great monitoring options including RTN from Ki Pro. The headphone out the KI PRO does not show true quality of sound recorded. IOW Ki Pro records much better than it monitors
