I just watched a Rotoscoping tutorial by Pete O’Connell and at the start of the tutorial he hits a key on his keyboard and a guide comes up (like Title/Action safety .. but not) that divides the screen in half horizontally and vertically.

I know how to turn on Field Guides and the green Grid and Proportional Grid and the blue Ruler Guides .. but for the LIFE of me I can’t figure this one out. Colleagues suggest just making Blue Guides and yes, I can do that, but it looks like this was a built-in part of After Effects, not something I have to make every time.

Anyone have an idea what makes this halfsies guide?

    Thanks

    Marc
