I run a live set up (City Council Meetings) with 16 mics.. that are always open. I get intereference from some cell phones especially nextel what can I do (besides turn off the cell phones) to stop a cell phone signal or frequency from interfering with my audio signal?

Best bet is to get the presiding official to order them all off at the start of the event, and to promise to eject people who “forget”. You could add RF chokes to all the audio lines, I’m assuming you already have properly shielded and balanced audio everywhere, so there’s little more that can be done, unless you go to shotgun mics or PZM’s from farther away. And that’s no panacea.
