  CD Plugin Updates Released

  Howdy,

  Service updates are now available for CD IK Tools 1.528, CD Morph 1.513, CD Constraints 1.525, CD Joints & Skin 1.532 and CD Transfer Tools 1.080.

  The updates are mostly bug fixes and improvements, but there are a few new features. Details about the changes can be found in each plugin’s Readme file.

  A few of the new features worth noting are:

  CD Joints & Skin
  The CD Paint Skin Weights tool will now remember the strength setting for each paint mode and will automatically reset the strength when you switch modes to the previously set strength for that mode. There is a new option to hold the Shift and Control keys down and click once on a point in the viewport to take a sample of that point’s weight and set the strength slider to that weight.

  The CD Freeze Transformation command will now freeze the scale of an object’s position keys along with the object scale. It also will freeze the scale of Xpresso constant values if they are connected to an object’s Position input ports. The only nodes supported with this update are the Constant node and the Condition node.

  A new command called CD Toggle Paint Mode was added which toggles the paint modes of the CD Paint Skin Weights tool between the Set and Add/Subtract modes. The main purpose for adding this command is so you can assign a hot key to the command and use the hot key to switch paint modes and thereby speeding up your work flow.

  A new command was added called CD Merge Skin which works similar to the Connect command, but it will recognize the CD Skin tag on the objects to be connected and will merge all CD Skin weights into a single tag.

  A new command was added called CD Freeze Skin State which works similar to the Current State to Object command but it will recognize the CD Skin tag and reset the stored reference on the copied object to the current shape of the original object.

  CD Morph
  The CD Morph Mixer tag was rewritten. It now has a tag list instead of separate links for each tag. When you drag the tags to the list a strength slider for that tag will appear in the Mixers tab. you can rearrange the order of the mixers by rearranging the order of the tags in the list.

  The CD Morph tag has a new option to show the spherical editing guides on the selected points only.
