hello
is there an easy way to remove every other second (time) of a video to get the stepped look of a cctv camera ?
any help would be much appreciated

This will do similar to what you want without having to write a script.
Right-click on the video clip, select “Properties” and lower the “Undersample Rate”.
Start at 0.5 and go lower if you want to. -
