CCleaner utility now lists Vegas files for deletion
I know that most PC user run programs use various utilities to clear out all of the leftover junk created by various programs. On on the most popular programs to do this is CCleaner.
I notice that the latest version of this program 4.16 under the application tag is listing Vegas as well as other programs used with trans coding etc. I can’t recall seeing Vegas etc there before.
I just wanted to make this aware to everyone & to ask if this is of concern because it doesn’t appear to tell what its looking for. This might be a good thing if for instance if for instance if you finished a project & wanted to delete temp file but what if it targets veg files?

Some weren’t there before… But i dont see Vegas in the list on my end.

I have seen Vegas 12 listed in CCleaner for some time now. In 4.16 Vegas has seemed to disappear for me. I only have 13 installed.

Something strange appears to be going on. A few days back I ran the cleaner & it wanted to delete some JPEG’s that were sitting in a folder on the desktop. I didn’t delete them. When I installed the newer version I ran program again & these picture weren’t listed.

Odd indeed. But still CCleaner is simply good….
