  CCIR 601 into After Effects

  i have some footage that was shot at 1080i and i captured it in FCP. when i take it to a 720 X 480 sequence in FCP, it squeezes it top to bottom and makes it letterboxed. fine. when i take the same clip into AE into a 720 X 480 composition, it fills the frame…no letterboxing. i have played with the interpret footage settings a bunch and it wont snap into the same position and scale as it does in FCP. how would i get it to match ? i want to make sure the pixels are stacking up nicely.
