  • CC Sphere on vector graphic negates lossless scale up??

    Hi all,

Would love any thoughts/work arounds for this obstacle– I’m creating a globe from a flat vector graphic of a world map and I want to zoom in on a certain country.

I can zoom in forever on the flat vector graphic, of course, but I lose this ability when I apply the CC Sphere effect to make a globe. Increasing the scale and/or radius both cause pixelation and fuzziness.

    Thoughts?

I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and quickly! Thanks!!

Precomp your AI artwork in a large comp and apply CC Sphere to it.
You can resize that precomp (in the settings) and the AI artwork (in the layer transform controls) to get more detail in your zoo. CC Sphere treats the layer it’s applied to as a bitmap so the bigger the layer the better the resolution zooming in.
