    Hello Everyone,

I’ve got a great spinning globe. When I add a camera and zoom into the continents, they look blurry (I’ve used a high res image for the earth map). Is there a way to work around or fix this without a 3-d program?

    Thanks!

    how are you zooming in?

if you are using scale, you might try increasing the radius in cc sphere to see if that helps

    Hey Kevin,

I was using the z-axis of the camera…I’ll try scale and see if that works better.

    Thanks!!!

that is one of the downsides of some 3d plug ins. They dont scale high rez imagery the same way a true 3d app interpolates one.

CC Sphere is not a 3D plugin, it just maps a layer to a simulated 3D object.
CC Sphere will hold resolution if you precompose it properly and use the correct scaling/zooming operation. Using a comp camera will yield a different result than using the camera in the filter.

Thanks, adjusting the scaling is working like a charm!
