i’m trying to create a globe (sphere) that has small images (eg. buildings) attached to it, so that when the globe rotates, the images do also. I have used CC sphere to create the globe from a map.

I have tried attaching the small images position to the rotation value of the globe (with an expression), which works, but it shifts the position of the small image out of frame.

If you have any ideas i would love to hear them.

    Many thanks,
    Dan

You wouldn’t make a comp (twice as wide as tall) containing all the little images, then apply CC sphere to that?

Or maybe parent all the images to a null, then rotate the null with the sphere via an expression?

Can you explain this further? Are you referring to the actual comp size of the project?

    Cheers.

    Cheers for the help,
