May 21, 2008 at 5:34 pmHow do I link the position of [cc particle world] a particles layer to the position of a camera null so that the particles stay in the picture when I move the camera null?
Anyone?Thanks a million,

May 21, 2008 at 6:12 pmThat would be a question of using the parent function.
However, your question doesn’t tell us anythign about the problem you’re having or what you’re really expecting to happen.bogiesan
This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

May 21, 2008 at 7:27 pmI have a 3d scene in which a camera is the child of a null object . The null has a separate xyz expression applied to it. The Null controls the camera.
In the scene I have a solid with CC Particle World applied to it.
When I move the Null on the x or y axis, the particles move out of frame. I want the particles to remain in front of the camera at all times.
I hope this explains……….Thanks a million,

May 22, 2008 at 2:51 pmOK, I’ve figured it out………..simply expand the particle growth fields, widen the x and y growth parameters under the Producer switch………. and bump up the birth rate.
Thanks a million,
Dave
