    Hello Everyone!

I want to do an explosion animation effect with the CC Particle World Effect, but I’d like to do it “Matrix-style”. When the particles are about half-way blown out, I’d like to freeze the frame, do some rotating camera movement, and than continue the explosion animation. Is that possible?

I pre-composed the particles layer and I can move the camera around, but after I applied the time-remapping feature, it seems like it doesn’t affect the particles movement. Should I slow down the particles movement inside the CC Partcile World effect? How can I do that? And how can I make them continue moving after the freezed position?

Thank you in advance for all the helps!

Ps.: This is my first thread on this forum, and needless to say, it is a wonderful forum, with a wonderful community! 😉

CC Particle World lacks a world time parameter.

However, Trapcode Particular has precisely what you are looking for. A parameter called “Physics Time Factor”, which allows you to freeze or reverse the calculations of the simulation. You may also move the camera at will or use expressions to drive camera position from an AE Camera, etc, as well.

    A great great plug-in.

Thank you very much for the quick response!

    Particular solved my problem!
Shame, that they left out from CC Particle World this world time controller.

    Thanks again!
