Ok, so I have been using a camera and null object to manipulate videos and images in 3D space, yet I am trying to apply the CC Particle World Effect to my last video, and I don’t know how to put the particle world effect on the video since it is very far back on the z axis. So, basically, how do I make it so I can manipulate the Particle World effect on the z axis and get it so that the effect corresponds to my video? Thanks!

I would like to know too! I have never figure out how the CC Particle World space corresponds to Comp/Layer space, or if it does at all. I’ve always had to locate it by the good ol’ trial-and-error method…

Good luck and I hope someone has a good answer for you!

here’s a link to a page that has the manual for all the bundled cycore effects several tutorials/projects, one of which covers linking particle world’s 3d coordinates to ae’s 3d environment:

    https://cycorefx.com/dloads_ccfx.php

videocopilot.net also has a few video tutorials that show how to do this… one i remember showed how to create a 3d stroke-like effect using cc particle world.
