So, I’m using the good old page turn effect but want it to look a little more realistic.

As we all know, adding a little motion blur to moving objects always helps this.

There’s no such option in the effect panel. I was thinking about creating an adjustment layer, applying a directional blur to it, and then key framing a mask so that it followed the page’s edge.

    It looks okay.

Anyone else think of a way to do this?

    Thanks.

try adding cc force motion blur… it’s what cycore came up with for their effects that don’t support native motion blur. it works on most effects that don’t support ae’s motion blur, like card wipe, card dance and shatter. however it will hurt render time, but it’s easy to just hide the effect while your working with oter things, just remember to re-enable it before rendering.
