cc effects missing
I am missing all of the cc effects. I am running AE 6.5 Pro. I have reinstalled but they are still not there. Is there something I am doing wrong in the install. I am running the full install. Any advice would be appreciated.

These effects come as a separate installer on the disk.

I went through all of the extras and don’t see the installer. I hate to sound stupid but can you tell what folder it might be in? I am working through a tutorial book and have the education version but it is supposed to be complete. Thanks for the help.

The educational version of AE 6.5 did not come with some of the third-party plug-ins. All versions (including educational) of AE 7.0 come with with all of the plug-ins.

uhhh….I have the education versions for Mac and PC 6.5 and they both come with ALL the effects.
On the installer disk, there should be 4-6 additional folers. Some have the installers for the plug-ins.Good Luck,

I have installed everything on the disk and they are still missing. I bought this when 6.5 was first released, maybe that is the problem. I hope to start using AE on jobs before long anyway so I think I will go ahead and buy the commercial version of AE7.

If anyone has an educational/academic version, then the 3rd party plugins will not show up until you register and get a valid serial number. (Except for Keylight—it should be there regardless)
