Hi, is there a way to combine CC Composite with a linear wipe to control the transition of a tint effect? i basically want to start of with a black and white image then using a linear wipe to transition to full colour, I’m aware I can use alphas and multiple ways to achieve this, but I’m specifically trying to keep this all on a single layer,

    thanks in advance
    Scott

what about an adjustment layer with the wipe one…that would let you do it in 1 layer…kind of

You can use the compositing options in the tint effect to use a mask to control where the effect is.
Put a mask on your layer and then, in the timeline, twirl open the effects to see the tint effect and click that little plus at the bottom of it.
