Regardless of choosing Pre-mult or straight all alphas coming out using the Avid DNxHD codec are coming out pre-multiplied. Also defaults everything to RGB color space. DNxHD works with both color spaces and it would be nice to have that option restored. If I’m missing a settings in the codec please let me know, but this is unacceptable.

CC2017 – PreMult Alpha, Notice black line all around green box_RGB color.

CC 2017 – Straight Alpha-black line all around green box_RGB color.

CC 2015 – Straight Alpha- Clean all around, 709 color

Same issue here, so it’s back to 2015…

I’m having the same issue. It’s also crazy that the color depth is locked at Millions of Colors with the DNxHR/DNxHD codec. Trillions of colors is standard for HD & UHD video.

I wish they would just enable the old plugin in QuickTime codecs as before so you at least had the option to choose. This is really unfortunate.
