Just loaded it up to do some testing and getting that old
friend of mine…the glitchy audio which was recently solved in 7.2.2
    but plagued all previous versions.

you start playing the sequence and either hear nothing (audio meters are moving though)
or hear glitchy sounds with your audio.

stopping and restarting it may or may not playback properly, but after a few tries will.

I’m on a Kona3G and not running the latest driver, so I will try that
to see if it fixes it.

On a separate note those new application splash screens are hideous.

    Chris,

Most AJA cards have had audio issues with Premiere for the past few years. AJA even has a tech note about it on their site and lists options in their read me with the drivers. Were you having perfect audio playback with all your preferences set to AJA input and output in System Prefs and Premiere Prefs? The only work around I’ve had work is in System prefs to change Output to Line out, Input to AJA 3G, then change your audio hardware in Premiere to Built in output and de-select AJA 3G in the playback menu. You need to take a 1/8 headphone cable from the back of your machine output and run it into a mixer connected to your speakers and playback should be clean going forward. This has been a way we have handled the AJA audio playback issues for all our bays with 7.2.2 on up.

I don’t recall exactly what it was in system preferences (whatever aja recommended) but within premiere, ya it was set to AJA.

The 7.2.2 (last update in april) got rid of that audio gremlin completely, but
still had the problem on my other system with black magic interface. once in awhile.

So this was a false alarm, I’d forgotten an aja tech had helped
me with this before and I had not applied this setting to CC 2014.

    In the audio hardware preferences:

    Audio output: Built in output

buffer: 1024 (not 512 default setting)

No audio problems with above setting on the kona3G

    OS X 10.8.3
    Quadro 4000 (CUDA 6.0)
