    CatDV Pro to Davinci Resolve?

    What’s the best way to export a CatDV Pro sequence (or clips) to Davinci Resolve 8?

    I’ve tried exporting an FCP7 XML and Resolve crashes every time on import.

    Here Resolve works fine to open a file coming from FCP. Try doing a drag and drop from CatDV into FCP and then taking that timeline and exporting it again from FCP to Resolve.

    Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.

    Hi Brian
    this is a known ticketed bug. It also effects MME with EX1 and EX3 AMA workflows. However cleaning up the XML via FCP 7 is not an option that is available to users on the Windows platform, so clearly the matter needs to be dealt with as a matter of urgency as it is currently a deal breaker for many other desirable workflow situations.
