CatDV Pro and Aperture 3 in a FCP Workflow
Aperture 3 handles DSLR video, but I don’t think it is the right tool for anything except home movies.
I’ve been using CatDV in my workflow. Just wondering what others are doing to catalog clips.
(I tend mix and max a lot of footage from various projects, so straight asset management by project in the Finder is less than optimal for me.)

Yeah CatDV totally rocks- love it. Aperture nice but unless you’re doing massive stills and working RAW it’s not quite needed for mostly video work.

If shooting stills and footage on sme card. I prefer aperture.
