CATDV FTP question
Hi All
I am trying to configure the Worker Node (ver. 5.0.0.1514) to automate some FTP jobs and need some advice.
I tried to set the trigger as a watch folder (instead of a server query as suggested in the manual) and a curl command line to specify the ftp host, username, password info. I completely bypassed the Publish function since I wanted this for edited video files uploaded for delivery only. The aim is to have a watch folder where we just need to drag in a file and have it uploaded to a shared FTP site.
Long things short, it did not do the FTP even though the log registers a complete status. So my preliminary questions are:
Do I need to use a server query to perform FTP functions?
Do I need to publish a catalog to perform an FTP function?
Is there any other aspect I am completely missing?
and, am I providing insufficient information?I appreciate any and all suggestions or insults even 😉

It should work fine without an import. But if your logs show a “status 1” on your curl command, Worker is firing the command, but your curl syntax is wrong.
